Yay, I really am a fan!
Sometimes I am just in need of a well made falafel. The area has many Greek and Mediterranean restaurants, but I have not found many that serve really good falafel. This falafel IS really good. It is moist and full of flavor. I had the pita falafel sandwich. If I had one comment, the tzatziki sauce lacked flavor all together.
The restaurant is located in the outdated College Village Shopping Center that made me wonder if it would be a good place to try. The minute I walked in I was transported to my college days and the little great restaurant finds we had close to campus. This is a hole in the wall place, that I will surely visit a lot. I am glad I was courageous enough to pull into the shopping center and give it a try.

So it's not bad but it's not great.  I have had my share of Gyros in the Triad and the one I ordered at Kozzy's was bottom of the list.  The lamb was overcooked and you don't get much on the sand which.  Arby's sand which is better and cheaper and it's a chain restaurant.  Sadly I will go elsewhere for my gyro cravings.  Maybe if they added more meat and didn't over cook it I would try again.

This small, plainly appointed sandwich shop is located in the College Village Shopping center, which is just next to HPU. The shopping center has some age on it, the parking lot is active with in and outs, and the surrounding area has a pretty busy traffic flow, so arriving and leaving can require your full attention.

The menu is composed of the usual apps, salads, subs, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and gyros. They also offer a Pita-Dilla, which is a quesadilla using pita rather than tortillas. There are 6 or 8 booths & tables inside, and several picnic tables outside, but much of the activity here seems to be take out. The service is friendly and efficient.

The Classic Hot Dog ($1.89) is your basic chili dog, which includes a decent wiener, but the chili is rather weak, and lightly applied. There are several other types of dogs (the New Yorker, etc), and I might try one, but I'd not re-order the classic.

The Cheeseburger ($4.04 as dressed with L, T, & Mayo) was very good, an excellent "diner style" burger. The beef patty is fairly sized & full of flavor, though the amount of cheese is really small. I'd definitely get this burger again.

The Gyro ($5.99) is solid, but rather small. The meat is thinly sliced, and a touch on the dry side, undressed - but overall this version works pretty well. While I probably wouldn't described this as a destination Gyro, I'd pick one up if in the area, saying like ordering a cheeseburger from here.

The food might be good but the customer service far outweighs it. I waited 50 minutes for what was suppose to be "30 minutes" for a small order. They then didn't bring any of the sides we ordered. We called the back and it took 30+ minutes of waiting for them to get back. I called again to see where they were, they told me they were in the way with the rest of my food and they never showed up. CHARGED FOR FOOD THEY DID NOT PROVIDE. Not to mention, when I called to request the rest of our food be brought to us, the person that answered the phone was sighing and groaning about having to deal with it and hung up the phone on me. Absolutely horrible customer service and serious lack of respect for their customers, on top of stealing money from their customers.

Ok food, the service was not the best. One of my friends ordered multiple things and the lady took her plate of fries from in front of her, while she was still eating, and took it to the back where she dumped her sandwich right on top of the ketchup she had for her fries. So she spent her first 5 minutes wiping her sandwich with a napkin instead of eating.
